A Lost Household Services Report calculates the economic value of the household tasks that an injured or deceased person can no longer perform. These services include cooking, cleaning, childcare, home maintenance, grocery shopping, and other non-market labor that contributes to a household’s well-being. Most states also require that the future value of household services be calculated in present value.
